Operating Hours & Policies
Business and visiting hours are between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm and services are usually completed during this time.
We will of course do our best to accommodate your preferred walking time.
Meet & Greet
We will come to your home to meet you & your pet to become acquainted a few days prior to scheduled visits.
Keys
The client is required to provide a key of their home at the meet and greet visit. We do offer a "Safe Key" program. Home Alone Critter Sitters can keep your key on file for future visits which will prevent a charge for pick up and drop off visits in the future, in addition to having a spare key in case of lock-outs. HACS will not be responsible for any keys the client has asked to be mailed. HACS will never leave keys locked in a client's home pending their return.
Payments
We accept checks, cash and PayPal. You may use your PayPal account simply by logging into your PayPal then go to the "Send Money" tab. You can send money using a credit card or checking account. If you do not currently have a PayPal account simply click here to open an account for free within a few minutes. Payment is expected before services are rendered. In the event of additional unforeseen visits or other costs (such as food, supplies, or vet fee), payment is expected within 5 days of the completion of services or a late charge of $20. will be applied. Please make any checks payable to: Consider It Done Concierge, LLC (Home Alone is a subsidiary of Consider It Done).
Cancellations
Home Alone Critter Sitter's goal is to be there for you and your pet to provide the same love and care you would. We understand changes occur and are sometimes unexpected. We do ask you to contact us with at least a 24 hour cancellation notice. Should cancellation not be received within 24 hours of scheduled visit - a $30.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Holidays of course are our most desired pet sitting time. (Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve. Christmas Day)
Although we do not raise our prices on holidays, we do require a 72-hour cancellation notice. Should cancellation not be received within this 72 hours of scheduled visit, 50% of the fee will apply.
